It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph A. Cortese (Rochester, New York), who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Charles and Jeanette; his brother Patrick; his son Patrick; his wife Barbara; his sons, Joseph Jr. (Emma), Michael and Charles; and his brothers, Ronnie (Maria) and Chuck (Lori). He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins; many loving family and dear friends.

Contributions may be made to the School of the Holy Childhood in his memory. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Joseph A. Cortese 's name.
