He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Looney and Rose Looney; his sister Barbara; and his brother-in-law Glenn Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Rowland Looney of Rochester, N. Y.; his daughter Jennifer Shannon of Alexandria, VA; his granddaughter Katie Snook (Jordan) of Miamisburg, OH; his great grandchildren, Melody Snook and Maxwell Snook of Miamisburg, OH; and his siblings-in-law, Luther Rowland, Jr. (Nancy) of Midway and Christine Anderson of Hazlehurst. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home (3 E Odum St, Hazlehurst, GA 31539). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
