He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia; his sisters, Jeanne Lueder and Ruthe Patten; his grandson Steven Cook; and his parents, Willard Wixom and Berta Hadley Wixom.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Cook (Gary), John Wixom (Nely), Janice Wixom, Dolores Dobjeleski (David), Elizabeth Wixom and Joseph Wixom; his grandchildren, Richard (Holly), David (Kerri), Jeffrey (Cheyenna), Jennifer (Andrew), Michael (Tawnya), Sarah (Jason), Matthew (Kalynn), Rachel, Lauren and Alexander; his great grandchildren, Allison, Cody, Zachary, Grace, Melissa, Brayden, Christina, Austin, Ashley, Aiden, Isabella, Brendan, Jackson, Hazel and Josephine; and his sister-in-law Dorthea Simone.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (3325 S Winton Rd, Rochester, NY 14623). The military honors was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (150 Middle Rd, Henrietta, NY 14467).
