It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan C. Hanss (Rochester, New York), who passed away on May 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Hanss (Jack); her parents, Cyril Marx and Lucille Marx; her great grandchild Sarina Lester; her children, Jean Henderson (Dana), J. Joseph Hanss (Debra), Julie Hoover (Keith) and Jeffrey Hanss (Eileen); and her brother Richard Marx (Patricia). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ann's Chapel Oaks Community, American Diabetes Association, or Golisano Children's Hospital in Joan's memory.
