Jennie Mayer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jennie Mayer (Rochester, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norbert Mayer; her parents, Bruno Morabito and Angelina Morabito; and her siblings, Anthony, Bruno, Frances, Joseph, Mary, Nellie, Paul, Philip, Vincent and Virginia.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Mayer (Donna) and Noreen Pearsall (Ronald); her grandchildren, Marissa Kiriakidis, Angela Young (Josiah), Catherine Garland (Jake) and Kristen Murphy (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Luke, Rhoslyn, Lexi, Lucy, Josephine, Frederick, Henry, Cecelia and Monica; and her pet Rocky.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home (1411 Vintage Ln, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Christopher's Church (3350 Union St, North Chili, NY 14514).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Lollypop Farm, Humane Society 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 in Jennie's memory.
