It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean R. Schichler (Rochester, New York), who passed away on August 13, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Ben Schichler; her grandson David Schichler; her mother Anna Capone; and her brother Ernie Capone. She is survived by: her husband Fred Schichler; her children, Rosemarie Sero (Scottie), Lisa Schichler (Tony Chirico) and Christopher Schichler (Sharon); her siblings, Angie Salamone and Sam Capone (Carol); and her siblings-in-law, Judy Capone, Cathy, Gary Westfall, Dorothy Wester, Ann Marie, Joe Decker, Joseph Schichler, Rita and John Edmond. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38015 in her memory.
