She was predeceased by: her former husband William Van Lare; and her siblings, Betty and Charles "Chuck" DeZutter. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Corteville; her sons, Tim Van Lare (Cathy) of Texas and Greg Van Lare (Shelley) of Farmington; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Emily, Kim, Case, Ben and James. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

Donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association at ALZ.ORG in her memory.
