The memory of Jane M. Stanley of Rochester, New York, who passed away on November 10, 2024, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jane may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Scheidegger and Evelyn Scheidegger (Spencer); her husband Charles Stanley; and her siblings, John Scheidegger, Alice Aiken, Sarah O'Neil and Mary Chesbro.
She is survived by: her siblings, Catherine "Catsy" Van Pelt and Frederick Scheidegger Jr.; and her daughters, Deborah Delaney, Carol (Frank Winn) and Susan (Andrew Zibuck). She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. H. Landers, Inc. Funeral Chapel (21 Main St, Sidney, NY 13838). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Prospect Hill Cemetery East Main.
