He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Balser of Aberdeen, NC, Jamie Reaves (Ronnie) of Aberdeen and B'Nai Gendleman (Harrison) of Alachua, FL; his grandchildren, Da'Lyne Balser, Kaylia Balser, James Campbell, Alycia Balser, Christian Jones, Breanna Reaves, Talayah Reaves, Shymiek Reaves, Tyrese Reaves, Ganasham Gendleman, Tulasi Robinson, Devi Williams and Kanai Williams; his great grandchildren, Da'Shon Balser, Da'Moni Balser, Bella Balser, Steven Wallace Jr., Cayden Campbell, Kaylianna Campbell and Z'yhion Campbell; his close friend Mercy of Rochester, NY; his stepson Brighton Murefu (Rumbie) of Rochester; his siblings, Annie Quick of Hamlet, NC, Edith Morrison of Southern Pines, NC, Carolyn Askins of Timmonsville, SC, Mildred Webb of Rochester, John York of Hamlet, NC, Roger Gibson and Thomas Gibson; and his niece Katara Mixon of Rochester. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
