She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Panayiotis Kontoroupis and Kalliope Kontoroupis (Karaminza); her children, Mary Greven (Bill Kimmel) of Albany and George Greven of Rochester; her brother James Condax of Athens, Greece; and her cousin Penelope T. Patros (Pete). She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church (210 Franklin St, Elmira, NY 14904).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may honor Argiro with a donation in her memory to St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church.
