We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, Herbert William Young Jr. of Rochester, New York, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Herbert William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Herbert William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Herbert William Young, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his children, Leah Brenner (Matthew), Kelly Ceraci (Frank), Lori Kessler (Bradley), Katie Fox (Steven) and Matthew Young (Elizabeth); his mother Mary Lou Young; and his brother Russell Young. He is also survived by grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Bible Baptist Church (990 Manitou Rd, Hilton, NY 14468).
In lieu of flowers we request donations be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center or Golisano Restorative Neurology & Rehabilitation Center in his memory.
