He is survived by: his children, Veronica Johnson (Howard), Kevin Hicks, Kimberly Poles, Christopher Poles and Luukia Holmes; and his sisters, Elberta Clarke and Marinda Gwaltney. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
