He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Marie Knapp; his parents, Jacob Knapp and Isabel Knapp; his brother Harold; his sister-in-law Ruth Knapp; his niece Colleen Ericson; and his grandson Jerry Ebner.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Knapp (Sandy), Mary Milillo (William), Thomas Knapp (Melanie), Judith Turnipseed, Beth Alkire (Ronald), Joseph Knapp and William Knapp (Pamela). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild, countless nieces, nephews and friends.
