George B. Zlotkus Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George B. Zlotkus (Rochester, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Ann VanderMalle. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Balaishis; his children, Charles (Tracy), Susan Jenkins (Curtis) and Steven (Kipzya); his grandchildren, Brandon VanderMalle, Taylor Fischette (Jordan), Colton, Adam Zlotkus, Corie, Katie Jenkins and Isla Zlotkus; and his sister-in-law Linda Balaishis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Parkes Family Chapel at St. Ann's Community (1500 Portland Ave, Rochester, NY 14617). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Leo Center for Caring at St. Ann's, where George spent his final days surrounded by peace and compassion.
