He was predeceased by: his wife Corradina (D'Angelo); his parents, Giorgio DeRosa and Filomena DeRosa; and his siblings, Luigi DeRosa (Josephine), Carmelina Peluso (Bartolomeo) and Salvatore DeRosa (Carmela).
He is survived by: his son Giorgio DeRosa (Maureen); his daughter-in-law Melody Breslin (Daniel); his grandchildren, Jessica Davos (Jim), Melissa DeRosa and Joseph DeRosa (Kathleen); and his great grandchildren, Alexa, Ashley and Rory. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farrell-Ryan Funeral and Cremation Services (777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St Mark's Roman Catholic Church (54 Kuhn Rd, Rochester, NY 14612). An entombment was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
