He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Amato and Rosina Amato (Vaccaro). He is survived by: his wife Katejean Amato (Ferland); his daughter Annette Jordan (Brian) of Glenmont; his granddaughter Alisha Jordan of Albany; his sisters, Patricia Carocci and Joanne Amato of Liverpool; his siblings-in-law, Lynn Reese, Kristina Bald (Rick) and Richard Ferland; his nephews, John A. Carocci and David Carocci (Concetta); his great-niece Caterina Carocci; and his great-nephew GianLuca Carocci.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Assumption Church (812 N Salina St, Syracuse, NY 13208).
