We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2024, Eugene T. Chmiel Sr. (Rochester, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Helen; his siblings, Mary, Joseph, Leonard, Henry and John; and his great grandchild Ada Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Debbie Smith (John), Kathy Spring (Don), Michael Chmiel (Lynnette) and Eugene Chmiel (Dawn); his grandchildren, Eric Smith (Rachel), Melissa Sherman (Matt), Tim Spring (Megan), Christina Cornwell (Eric), Michelle Lapple (Fred), Julie Bechard (Phil), Joe Spring (Jemi), Joshua Chmiel (Molly), Jennifer Chmiel, Brian Chmiel (Nicole) and Andrew Chmiel (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Matthew, Jillian, Alexander, Aubrey, Jacob, Billy, Maggie, Logan, Felicity, Theo, Melody, Elliott, Freddie, Charlie, Sam, Tommy, Lyla, Iris, Ella, Maddy, Dylan and Lydia; and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Williams (Don) and Rose Zolnierowski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Paul W. Harris Funeral Home, Inc. (570 Kings Hwy S, Rochester, NY 14617).
