He was predeceased by: his former wife Sandra. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; and his children, Pamela Takah, Penny Sayles (William), Kimberly Sciotti and David Acker (Donna). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
