It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward B. Homsey of Rochester, New York, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Essa B. Homsey and Myrtle Homsey (Raney) of McPherson, KS; and his former wife Shirley Homsey (Moore). He is survived by: his sister Donna Sue Proctor of Spokane, WA; his children, Susan Homsey (John Ernisse) and David Homsey (Susan Wildemann Homsey); his granddaughters, Laura, Emma and Sarah; his cousin David Raney (Sidney); and his wife Ed's.
A reception will be held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Braddock Bay Park (199 E Manitou Rd, Hilton, NY 14468).
In lieu of flowers, Ed's family asks donations be made in his name to the Walter J. Travis Society – Ed Homsey Scholarship, so named after his passing to honor his passion.
