Dolores L. Metzger Obituary

As Dolores departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dolores. Though Dolores may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard; her son Mark; and her siblings, John Gundell, Sister Marion and Patricia VanDeVoorde.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Metzger (Beth), Charles Metzger (Holly) and Theresa Minch (David); and her daughter-in-law Dawn Metzger. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farrell - Ryan Funeral Home (777 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612). A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534).
