With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denis Michael Hill of Rochester, New York, born in Medford, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence "Buddy" P. Hill and Catherine "Caddy" M. Hill (Dyer) of Medford; his sister Noreen P. Horn (Hill); his nephew Dean G. Horn of York Beach, Maine.; his daughter Alexandra Hill of Dallas, Texas; his pet Mika; his daughter Alicia Hill; his grandchildren, Yohalis Briceño of Arvada and Angie Carolina Briceño-Genet of Paris, France; his siblings, Joanne Hill of York Beach, Catherine Keenan (William) of York Beach, MaryBeth Shanklin (Jody) of Colorado Springs and Patrice Fogarty of York Beach, Maine; his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Reiter (Horn), Patrick Horn, Michael Horn, Catherine "Catie", Colleen Keenan, Jessica, Cara Fogarty, Oliver and Grace Shanklin; and also Adirondack.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Christopher Church (4 Barrell Ln, York, ME 03909).
In lieu of flowers, his daughter asks that you donate to the organization https://scruffcats.org who share in Denis' beliefs that it is our obligation to endeavor to be better…especially for the local community cats.
