He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Coccia and Nancy Coccia; and his siblings, Giustino Coccia, Father Orestes Coccia SJ, Frank Coccia and Mary Ann Tantalo.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Coccia; his children, Bridgette Coccia and Joseph Coccia; his brother Vincent Coccia (Ann Marie); and his siblings-in-law, Anthony Tantalo, Jack Carey and Dee Carey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
