He was predeceased by: his children, Laurie Mills and Daniel H. Jr.; and his sister Alice DeVisser. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Lipani and Jeanne Wahls; and his granddaughters, Elizabeth Roberts (Stephen) and Jessica Davis (Josh).
