With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cathy A. Burns in Rochester, New York, who passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delton Shults and Sally Shults (Sumeriski); her husband Matthew Burns; and her granddaughter Addie Marie Burns. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Burns (Mike Butler) of Batavia, Jason Burns of Batavia, Jared Burns of Batavia, Brandon Burns (Kimberly) of Pembroke and Caitlin Burns (Matthew Griffin) of Batavia; her sisters, Cheryl Ball (Robert) of Batavia and Cynthia Hall (Stephen) of Batavia; her grandchildren, Bailey (Amanda), Matthew, Hailey, Gracelyn, Caiden, Jayce, Eliana, Ian, Nathan, Maizie and Brayden; and her great grandchild Waylen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
