She was predeceased by: her son Clemente Ruggiero; her parents, Luigi LaPietra and Marianna LaPietra; her siblings, Immaoclata Maccariello (Felice), Caterina Ruggiero (Nicola) and Angelo LaPierta (Maria Loreta); her sister-in-law Clementina LaPietra; her nephew Luigi LaPietra; and her niece Carmela Guerney.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Ruggiero; her daughter Emma Ruggiero; her granddaughters, GraceAnn and Marisa Speranza; her great grandchild Gianna Bonin; and her siblings, Raffale LaPietra, Attilo LaPietra (Maria) and Giovannina Casale (Domenico). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Theodore's Catholic Church (168 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606). An entombment was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (2650 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
