It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa McDonly (Riverhead, New York), who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Theresa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Theresa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Joseph Heck; and her siblings, Raymond, Phillip, John Nakovics and Joan Mancini.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen McDonly; her children, Denise Weber (Christoph) and Robert Ostrowe (Elizabeth); and her grandchildren, Anna and Nicholas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home (406 E Main St, Riverhead, NY 11901). A prayer was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 8:00 PM to 8:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933-1031).
