She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Timothy Griffing and Alice Terrell Griffing; her husband Raymond L. Jayne; her children, Ray, Tim, Cathy, Sally, Penny and Terry; and her sister Phoebe. She was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Riverhead United Methodist Church.
