He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Ann Carr; his parents, Harold D. Carr, Sr. and Ella Pritz; and his brother Richard Carr. He is survived by: his children, Harold D. Carr, III, James Adam Carr (Margaret) and Meghan Filacanevo (Joseph); his grandchildren, James, Ella, Claire and Jude; and his sister Patricia Harrigan.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home (406 E Main St, Riverhead, NY 11901). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Isidore's RC Church (622 Pulaski St, Riverhead, NY 11901).
