It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta M. Spellman (Riverhead, New York), born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William S. Spellman Sr.; her children, Veronica Spellman Johnson and John Mack Spellman; and her grandsons, Ernest Johnson and Jailyn Price.
She is survived by: her children, William S. Spellman, Sr., Joseph L. Spellman, Brandon E. Spellman, Veleda B. Spellman and Vedette D. Spellman; her grandchildren, Margaret (Bill) and Kevin L. Johnson (Elisa M. Spellman); her brother-in-law Aaron Hank Brown (Joan); her brother Eli Briggs (Rosemary); and her daughter Connie Wilson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters.
