It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilmer J Roache of Ripley, New York, born in North East, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Roache and Gladys Roache (Miller); his son William E. Roache; and his children-in-law, Gary Wieczorek and Mary Ann Roache.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Roache (Hubbard); his children, Elizabeth Rotunda of Ripley, Sally Wieczorek of Union City and Ernie Roache (Linda) of Findley Lake; and his grandchildren, Jeff, Mike, Christopher, Jeremy, Eric, Allie, Carey, Ryan, Alyssa and Adam. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the South Ripley Fire Department, 10268 NE Sherman Rd, Ripley, NY 14775.
