With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol Mellin of Ripley, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carol left this world on February 12, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Kozloski and Doris Lucille Kozloski (Crabb); her son Ken Anderson; and her sister Dorothy Francis. She is survived by: her children, Steven Wilt of Harborcreek, Shannon Wilt of Harborcreek, Chandra Hannold (Casten) of Sherman, NY and Megan Mellin of North East; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Kimberly, Jennifer, Melissa, Alexa, Timothy, Cadi, Emily, Maddison and Trenton; and her sister Kay Dumond. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home (65 S Lake St, North East, PA 16428). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the North East Cemetery (2615 Cemetery Rd, North East, PA 16428, USA).
