He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josephine Peischel (Walits) and Daniel Peischel; his wife Catherine "Kay" Cassidy; his children, James, Jr. (Janice Pascua), Kristen Keating (Kevin) and Valerie Mull (Todd); his grandchildren, Caitlynne, Christopher Keating and Shane Toth (Dayle); his great grandchild Maeve Toth; his siblings, Joan McManus of Raleigh-Durham, NC, Janet Ross of Raleigh-Durham, NC and Daniel Peischel Jr.; and his nephew Michael Peischel.
