Marijane Ostrander Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marijane Ostrander of Ridgewood, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister-in-law Elizabeth Murray (Betty Ann). She is survived by: her husband Robert G Ostrander; her children, Bobby, Ellen (Todd) and Edward; her grandson Robert Gabriel Ostrander; her sisters, Sister Lorretto De Sales (Ellen Scholtz), Ann Tracey, Elizabeth Martell (Betty Lou) and Jean Marie Scholtz (Jeanne); and her brother-in-law Richard Murray. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering (https://secure2.convio.net), an organization that Marijane was, fortunately but unfortunately, connected to in recent years. Contributions in her memory will honor the care and dedication she received while supporting others in need.
