Frieda Stalzer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frieda Stalzer of Ridgewood, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann Juran and Margareta Juran; and her husband Philip. She is survived by: her son Rudy; her grandchildren, Katherine and Steven; her great grandchildren, Ivy and Lily of Massachusetts; and her siblings, Emma Holzl of Austria, Frank and Robert.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ridgewood Chapels (663 Grandview Ave, Ridgewood, NY 11385). A Mass was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Matthias R. C. Church (58-15 Catalpa Ave, Flushing, NY 11385). A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to St Matthias RC Church, the Gottscheer Relief Association or your favorite charity.
