It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Leroy Shearer Jr. of Ridgewood, New York, born in Warren, Ohio, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Susan M. Herdman (Manna) of Warren, OH and Daniel Shearer, Sr. (Janice) of Bristolville, OH; his sister Tina Martof (Michael) of Longwood, FL; his stepfather Gary Herdman of Columbus, OH; his stepbrothers, Eric Bortmas of Patalaska, OH and Craig Bortmas of Columbus, OH; and his nephews, Ian, Elijah Martof and Mora Shapiro. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
