Charles Zsebedics Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2024, at the age of 88, Charles Zsebedics of Ridgewood, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Zsebedics and Irma Zsebedics (Nee Zsebedits). He is survived by: his wife Jadwiga; his stepson Peter; his children, Charles Zsebedics (Lisa), Paul Zsebedics (Ellen) and Maryann Connaughton (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Bryan Connaughton (Chelsea), Ryan Zsebedics (Katie), Kaitlyn Connaughton, Alexa Zsebedics, Brenna Lenahan (Brett), Brandon Connaughton (Krystyn), Andrew Zsebedics (Rani), Tyler Zsebedics, Danny Zsebedics, Evan Zsebedics and Ava Zsebedics; and his great grandchildren, Logan Connaughton, James Connaughton and Liam Lenahan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal R. C. Church (62-81 60th Pl, Ridgewood, NY 11385). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. John Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village, NY 11379).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the NYC Bird Alliance, (https://www.nycbirdalliance.org.) a cause Charles felt strongly about advocating on behalf of the conservation of New York's wild bird communities.
