Gertrude DuBois Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude DuBois of Ridge, New York, who passed away on July 16, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Gertrude departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gertrude may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gertrude leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert DuBois; and her parents, Gertrude Pilger and Theodore Pilger. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Baker, Robert DuBois, Sally, Diane DuBois and Claude. She is also survived by her family and friends.

The DuBois family asks that in lieu of flowers donations are made to the American Heart Association, Long Island Cares, or Trinity Outreach in Gertrude's name.
