She was predeceased by: her spouse William H. Jr.; and her sibling David B. H. Martin. She is survived by: her children, Mimi C. Shannon, Peter Rand Ryus (Tania), Barry S. Grace (Richard) and China S. Meier (James); her stepchildren, Pamela Williams, Katherine Roberts and William H. III; and her siblings, Susan Ely and Jill Ives.
