It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy V. Madore (Richmondville, New York), who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Bassler and Maria Bassler (Ayres) of Bassler Road; her husband Thomas Madore of Stamford; and her siblings, Mabel Bassler (Campbell), Louise, Henry, Harvey, David and Bennett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ilene Sparrow (Dan Yank) of Summit and Cathie Ryder (Coons) of Richmondville; her nephew Paul Bassler (Tracy) of East Berne; and her grandchildren, Jill Ryder (Bill Frederick) of Gloversville and Bret Ryder (June) of Summit. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
