He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Dyer and Eilene Tilkins; his brother Paul Dyer; his stepfather Joe Skotnicki Sr.; and his brother Joe Skotnicki Jr..
He is survived by: his close friend Phyllis Pitcher; his daughters, Tonya Pitcher, Shawna Nutting and Danyelle Sanderson (Eric); his grandchildren, Samantha Nutting, Mathew Nutting, Madison Kennedy, Emily Lamb and Alana Sanderson; his great grandchild Nash Nutting; and his siblings, Beverly Ackley and Daryl Dyer.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Half-Shire Historical Society (1100 County Rte 48, Richland, NY 13144).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pete's memory to the Richland Fire Department and Half-Shire Historical Society in Richland.
