He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth Dayton (Wakula); his children, Andrea Dayton and Benjamin Dayton; his grandson Tyler Smith; his siblings, Gary Dayton and Ellen Dayton; and his parents, Patricia Dayton (Baldwin) and Harris Dayton. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
