Archer; his children, Thomas Bates, Jr. (Barbara Anne) of Calhoun and Sherry Moore (Chris Clark) of Scottsdale; his stepchildren, Russell A. Bloomfield of Edwardsville and Susan A. Wynne (Douglas "Mac" McLelland) of Spring Hill; his grandchildren, Clinton Bates (Ella) of McDonough, Drew Bates (April) of Canton, Jacob Moore of Scottsdale, Matthew Moore of Scottsdale and Baylie Bates (Christian Pace) of Fayetteville; and his great grandchildren, Haley Bates, Rylynn Bates, Bryson Bates and Logyn Bates. He is also survived by niece and nephew.
