Rena Boersma Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Rena Boersma of Richfield Springs, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ane Bootsma and Richjse Rusticus Bootsma (Ruth); and her husband Theodore Boersma. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Boersma of Havre de Grace, John Boersma (Jan) of Glenwood and Ruth Stewart; her granddaughter Lauren Boersma; and her siblings, Thomas Bootsma of Oregon, Jake Bootsma of West Virginia, Richard Bootsma of Sussex, Harry Bootsma of Sussex, Gene Bootsma of Sussex, Tena Stout of Belvedere and Susan Engelsman of California. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mohawk Reformed Church (20 S Otsego St, Mohawk, NY 13407). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Clove Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory with donations to the Parkinsons Foundation or the Mohawk Reformed Church.
