John P. Murtha Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2020, at the age of 87, John P. Murtha (Richfield Springs, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Joseph and Bridgett Dorley Murtha; his daughter Lori Anne Bookstaver; and his siblings, Mary and Edward "Neddy".
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his daughters, Elaine Long of Cobleskill and Rita Mary "Rinky" Kyker of Denver, CO; his brother Patrick Joseph Murtha (Marie) of Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Shannon Ciriaco, Sean Long, Sheena James, Shane Long and Steven A. Kyker. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
