With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank J. Callahan of Richfield Springs, New York, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on August 31, 2024 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frank J. Callahan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis X Callahan and Kathleen Hawke Callahan; and his wife Mary Burnside of Joseph's Church. He is survived by: his daughters, Patty Callahan of Mohawk, Terri Sterling (Kevin) of Mohawk, Susan Callahan of Mohawk, Jennifer Southard (David) of Richfield Springs and Nancy Callahan of Oneonta; his stepdaughter Candice Colvin; his sister Ruth Fazio of Utica; and his grandchildren, Christa, Jeremy, David (Nicole), Matthew, Marshall and Joslyn.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (145 Cemetery Rd, Richfield Springs, NY 13439).
Expressions of sympathy may be made in donations to the Richfield Springs Volunteer Fire Department and the Richfield Springs Vets Club envelopes will be available at the service.
