It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elliot Meyer Helfand (Richfield Springs, New York), born in New York, New York, who passed away on July 28, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Helfand and Rose Osowitz Helfand; his wife Florence Morris; his brother Sol; his sister-in-law Estelle Helfand; and his daughter-in-law Mary Stockdale.
He is survived by: his former wife Martha Koch-Hecox; and his children, William Helfand of Los Angeles, CA, Terry Helfand of Hillsboro, NJ, Marsha Rubenstein (Alan) of Staten Island and Deborah Cohen (Alan) of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
