It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. LaBarge of Richfield Springs, New York, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry LaBarge and Mildred Cotton LaBarge; his siblings, Frank LaBarge and Patricia LaBarge Haas; and his brother-in-law Herman Haas.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy LaBarge; his son Robert LaBarge (Robyn Diamond) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Hudson LaBarge of Denver, CO and Baylee LaBarge of Atlanta, GA.; his daughter Tricia LaBarge Diedrich (Clyde Diedrich) of Mohawk, NY; his grandsons, Kevin Diedrich, Lieutenant and Jason Diedrich of Mohawk, NY.; his stepdaughter Michelle McCumber McKnight (William McKnight) of Richfield Springs, NY; his stepgrandchildren, Brandon McKnight (Sarah) and Grace McKnight of Henrietta, NY; his stepdaughter Melissa McCumber Florian (Russell); his daughter Natalia of Clay, NY; his grandchildren, Colin Dawley of Ilion, NY and Alexis Dawley Lamphere (Tyler Lamphere) of Pennellville, NY; his stepchildren, Michael McCumber (Rachel Coats) of Denver, CO, Paul L'Hommedieu, Jr. of Richfield Springs, NY, David L'Hommedieu of Ballston Spa, NY, Tim L'Hommedieu and Ann Marie L'Hommedieu of Albany, NY; his stepgrandsons, Bryce L'Hommedieu of Richfield Springs, NY, Michael L'Hommedieu of Clifton Park, NY and Vincent L'Hommedieu of Jacksonville, NC.; and also Jordan McKnight of Denver, CO..
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home (40 W James St, Richfield Springs, NY 13439). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Christ Uniting Church (17 Church St, Richfield Springs, NY 13439).
