It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlton Michael Oakes of Richfield Springs, New York, born in Springfield Center, New York, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Oakes and Eva Oakes; and his siblings, Lawrence Oakes, Elaine Yerdon and Charlotte Millard.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Oakes (Lynda) and Carla Oakes; his grandchildren, Jeremy Oakes, Brittany Duhani (Alex) and Willis Wightman; his siblings, Jerome Oakes (Regina), Clifford Oakes, Jean Domion, Rosalie Oakes and Joan Monte; and his brother-in-law David Wilson (Beverly). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
