It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne A. Brandes Sr. of Rhinebeck, New York, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John and Lillian Brandes (Hebert) of New York, NY; his siblings, John Brandes, Lorraine Kremenick, Kenneth N. Brandes and Elaine DelBene; his children, Kenneth Brandes (Paula) of Old Greenwich, CT, Wayne Brandes, Jr. (Aimee) of Port St, Brett Brandes (Jennifer) of Red Hook, NY, Deva Lapatas (Panos) of Derby, CT and Jan Rita Rexhouse (Peter) of Rhinebeck, NY; and his grandchildren, Audrey, Devin, Grace, Vance, Violet, Vynn-Vegas, Lillian, Alexandra, Leandros, Ethan, Jackson and Hudson. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
