He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. Joyce, Sr. and Dorothy Joyce (Dusenbury); his former wife Doris Scribner (Beatty Joyce); his grandparents, John H., Ruby Joyce (Loucks), Edwin K. and Katherine Dusenbury (Palmer); his niece Kristine Oetjen; and his nephew Trevor Sonnenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Joyce (Hodges); his children, Kevin Joyce (Sue), Debra Mears (Jamie), Lorraine Joyce, Kathleen Cote (Jerry) and Sharon Desso (Robert); his stepchildren, Richard Johnson II (Victoria) and Colleen Dorval; his grandchildren, Jessica Albano, Jennifer Harris, Jason Gonzalez, Randy Gonzalez, Teresa Fitzgerald, Michael Gonzalez II, Matthew Gonzalez, Kyle Desso, Melissa Cote, Brian Cote, Olivia Joyce, Rachael Baur, Hannah Dubose, Nadine Johnson, Kayla Plut, Heather Dorval, Heidi Dorval, Richard Dorval and Ryan Dorval; his sister Joan Alice Oetjen (August); his nephew Duane Oetjen (Rebecca); and his niece Penny Simmons (Phil). He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
